How many hours do your functions go for?

Generally, we program our functions to be up to 6 hours. This is calculated from the time guests arrive until the final farewells.

Can we bring our own caterer?

Of course you can! Our staff assist external caterers in the servery kitchens and we provide them with access to coolrooms, industrial warmers, cutlery, crockery and more. The Grand Royale has multiple kitchens, all of which are fully accessible by elevator. If you require cooking onsite a small fee does apply.

Is there ample parking available?

Yes and it’s free too! The Grand Royale is located adjacent to a large council carpark (space for over 200 vehicles) and has plenty of nearby street and off-street parking also – all of which has no time limit after 6pm.

Do you have a VIP suite?

We have two spacious bridal suites located right near the entry and fully equipped with bathrooms and air-conditioning. We provide food and beverage service to these rooms on the day of the event.

If necessary is there good security?

The Grand Royale has a relationship with several industry recognised security companies all of whom provide professional security services if required.

Do you provide us a program or do we organize it?

As part of the very detailed planning process, The Grand Royale organises the program for your event as well as providing very detailed checklists for every possible parameter. We often receive feedback from clients that the planning process with The Grand Royale is the most comprehensive they have ever been a part of ensuring perfect execution of the event.

Do you do food tasting? If so when?

The Grand Royale gives every one of its clients the opportunity to sample the food we will be serving at their event. The hardest part for the client is choosing which of the delicious meals they would like us to serve for their event!

If we’re having an Islamic function can it be that strictly no alcohol will be present onsite?

At the Grand Royale, we are sensitive to all cultural and religious requirements and happy to comply with your every request. We host functions for Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Islamics and many more of the worlds religions.

Can we separate men and women?

Yes. If it is a requirement that men and women are separated we can make it happen using decorative partitions.
